Fresco fresco di stampa, e’ online il nuovo numero di Cine20, che si apre con la mia recensione in anteprima (si fa per dire, e’ un film del 2013…) del bel Joe di David Gordon Green, con un impressionante Nicolas Cage, e prosegue con le news della settimana a cura del mio socio Weltall, tra cui vi segnalo soprattutto Joe, che forse uscira’, ma non e’ detto… poi ci sarebbe una commedia western di e con Seth McFarlane, e una commedia romantica musicale con Keira Knightley e Mark Ruffalo…
Comunque probabilmente io mi vado a vedere il film degli Spandau Ballet – Soul Boys of the Western World, al cinema solo il 20 e il 21, per fare un tuffo nostalgico negli anni ’80, quelli della mia gioventu’ insomma…
In Home-Video per la gioia del mio collega orientofilo (parola inventata da me sul momento) esce Father and Son di Hirokazu Koreeda, purtroppo solo in DVD
Trovate tutto ad aspettarvi QUA!!!
E intanto contiamo le ore per Guardiani della Galassia, che esce il 22 Ottobre dopo un’attesa durata ben due mesi e mezzo…

The Central Court of Wimbledon was literally studded with movie stars, most of which attended the final between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, won by a great Djokovic after one incredible match that will be remembered as one of the best final ever in the history of the championship.

Today is the 102th anniversary of the birth of mathematician Alan Turing, inventor of the Turing Machine and father of modern computers. Later this year a movie about him will hit the movie screens, The Imitation Game, in which he will be interpreted by the always brilliant Benedict Cumberbatch, as shown in these two pictures taken from the next issue of Empire magazine. With him in the movie, as you can see from the pictures, Mark Strong, Charles Dance and Keira Knightley, and also Matthew Goode and Rory Kinnear. The movie will focus both on his great professional achievements as code-breakers of the Nazi Code Enigma during the WWII as well on the struggles of his tormented private life, because he was gay in a period when it was still considered a crime.

Nonostante la neve che cade copiosa, ecco il nostro appuntamento settimanale con Cine20, con la mia recensione di Noi Siamo Infinito, sicuramente la più bella sorpresa di questo inizio anno, con un cast strepitoso di giovani attori, mentre l’amico e socio Weltall questa settimana s’è ammalato (sarà stato il superlavoro della settimana scorsa…), quindi niente Die Hard – Un Buon Giorno per Morire (tranquillo collega, mi sa che non ti sei perso nulla). Tra le uscite della settimana segnaliamo, a chi piace Keira Knightley (contenti loro), l’adattamento di Anna Karenina di Joe Wright, e a tutti gli altri Gangster Squad, con una Emma Stone bella da togliere il fiato.
Per le uscite in Home-Video, come promesso la settimana scorsa, ecco alcuni tra i titoli più interessanti visti di recente al cinema, ovvero Argo, 007 Skyfall e il cult Iron Sky, a parer mio tutti e tre titoli imperdibili per una cineteca che si rispetti.
