Season Three of the critically acclaimed series Black Mirror, created by Charlie Brooker, is on Netflix from today. Here are the titles of the SIX new episodes:

Prodotta da Channel 4 arriva da questa settimana la versione inglese della serie di successo svedese Äkta människor, ovvero Real Humans: HUMANS ha tutte le carte in regola per esser uno dei titoli di punta dell’estate seriale. Premessa della serie e’ che in un futuro non troppo lontano il gadget da possedere assolutamente per la propria casa siano i Synth, intelligenze artificiali in tutto simili agli esseri umani, pure troppo simili… Non e’ la prima volta che la britannica Channel 4 affronta tematiche del genere, con tutta la serie di Black Mirror di Charlie Brooker a testimoniarlo, quindi non si puo’ che ben sperare…
Humans va in onda la domenica sul canale USA AMC e su quello inglese Channel 4

Vista l’abbondanza dell’ottimo materiale a disposizione, stilare una classifica delle migliori serie tv del 2014 è stata particolarmente dura, e ha comportato scelte difficili, basate a volte più sull’affetto che provo per alcune (e per i loro autori) piuttosto che per la loro qualità intrinseca. Testimone della non facile scrematura è la lista che trovate in fondo di quelle che ce l’hanno quasi fatta ad entrare nella top ten. Ma andiamo a cominciare!!!

What would be Christmas without Christmas Special episodes of our favorite UK shows? Well, this one is REALLY special, because unexpected and really intriguing: I’m talking about White Christmas, the Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror special that will air next week on Channel 4. Like the first two “season” of the series, it will be a very bleak and tought-provoking anthology of three episodes about technology and his impact on our present and future life, only this time they will be three mini-episodes of half an hour. But the surprises doesn’t end here, because in the main role will be starring american actor Jon Hamm, which we all well know and appreciate as Don Draper in the AMC’s cult series Mad Men.

Also starring Oona Chaplin, previously seen in the HBO’s cult series Game Of Thrones and in the World War I BBC’s drama The Crimson Field, and Rafe Spall.

New faces in the second season of Utopia, the cult series of Channel 4 which has started this Monday in UK. Not that new though, because we have already seen actress Rose Leslie in Game of Thrones (as Ygritte) and Downton Abbey.
